FAQs
1. What is the price per sq ft to build a home? - Probably the most frequently asked question and the hardest to answer. Because we build custom homes, every home is different and has different features, cabinets, flooring etc. Therefore there is no standard or average cost. Our base price is about $110 sq ft based on total covered area.
2. How long does it take to build a home? - It is difficult to put an exact timeframe on the construction of a home due to the complexity of today's custom homes. However, a good rule of thumb is 6-9 months.
3. What do we do about home plans? - We can refer you to various architects and designers with whom we have done business. These companies can take your ideas and incorporate them into a home plan. They also may have stock plans which can be used as a starting point.
4. What are some standard features in Custom Creations by Dean homes? - The list of standard features in our homes is quite extensive and every home we build is customized for our client.
5. Does Custom Creations by Dean provide financing for the construction of homes? - We do not provide interim financing, however, we can refer you to lenders who can provide you with this financing.

Custom Creations by Dean, Inc. is proud to be a part of the great state of Texas where heritage is valued and still considered important. Dean Gaertner, a native son of Texas and founder of Custom Creations by Dean, values his German heritage which instilled in him the value of "old-fashioned hand crafted" quality which is prevalent in every custom homes he builds. Dean's Daughter, Lori, joined the company in 2010 and is now an active participant in the daily operation of the company. Having graduated from Sam Houston State University with her Interior Design degree, her expertise in the Interior Design process can help alleviate the need for an interior designer.
